Syllabus

Language & Script

The Board has now adopted Arabic, Urdu, English, Kannada, Arabi-Malyalam and Arabi-Tamil and has the medium of instructions and Insha Allah, the Board is ready to prepare and publish books in all other Indian vernaculars as per the future requirements. In Arabic script the Board is following the universally accepted ‘Qathunasq’ in all Arabic text books. The introduction of ‘Qathunasq’ and the strict usage of it by the board helps the student community to get an access with all international publications in Arabic. In case of Holy Qur-an only Rasm-Usmani is the only script accepted by the Board.

AL AQAID(Belief in islam)

Considering the present excessive influence of materialism and wide spread western modernization, the fundamentals of Islam and its convictions are misunderstood by young generation. The infidels, the atheists and the religious innovators with in Islam are trying to make the minds of the new generation in utter confusion. So in order to strengthen the faith and to make them ready to resist the adverse situation, the lessons of AQAID are made so logical and easily digestible to the students. It also tries to make the children understand the ephemeral nature of this world and the endurance of the creator and his greatness in creation and in sustaining the universe so as to make students virtuous. The lessons of AQAID are given in every classes from 1st to 10th standards, and the portions prescribed by the board that comprised the syllabus are arranged so simply and sophistically as per the aptitude of the students of different standards.

When the student go through the syllabus of AQAID and complete his secondary educational course he, by the grace of Allah, shall become a firm believer of the traditional Ahlusunnah as dictated in the true schools of Ash-ari and Mathuridi (Rahmathullahi Alaihima) and he shall become the staunch defender of the traditional faith.

FIQH(Jurisprudence)

The rituals and mode of offerings in Islam has been elaborately described in the text. The enigmatic ritual practices in the Shariat has been explained in the text with clarity and viability. The systematic method adopted in the syllabus makes the rituals practicable to the students. The mode of offerings and its pre-requisites, integrals, recommendation & prohibitions, lawful & unlawful, ritual purities & impurities are all simplified and explained with so precisely and with perfect clarity. In addition to this for higher classes the financial dealings, social and matrimonial contracts, Islamic criminology and governance and administrational rules and even the Islamic views and verdicts regarding the modern issues like, blood donation, cloning, exchange of human limbs etc, are all systematically and elaborately explained as it is squeezed from the prominent school of shariat viz Shafi and Hanafi separately as per the requirements of the texts prescribed by the board for different classes and standards When the student go through the syllabus of AQAID and complete his secondary educational course he, by the grace of Allah, shall become a firm believer of the traditional Ahlusunnah as dictated in the true schools of Ash-ari and Mathuridi (Rahmathullahi Alaihima) and he shall become the staunch defender of the traditional faith.

THASKIYAT(Moral Lessons)

There are books referring AHLAQ (good manners) for primary level to educate and train the younger generation in the Islamic way of living and in secondary level a series of books namely DURUSU THAZKIYA in simple Arabic are introduced which contain the life history of prophets, great imams, and saints of the religion. These books are also mixed with the anecdotes, short stories which help the students to get an acquaintance with the exemplary lives of the great luminaries of Islam and to imitate them. Through these series of books students are able to go through eminent personalities in Islam among whom there are a hundreds of sahabies and sahabiyath, imams of madhabs, Islamic savants and other Islamic scholars.

THARIQ(Islamic History)

The study of the inspiring history of Islam shall indeed leave an ever lasting impact in the minds of children. The exemplary life of the predecessors and sacrifices they have met in preaching mission of Islam, and faith and piety they have observed, and the achievements they have made shall always become a stimulating effect on the future generation. By this view in mind the Board gives more stress in teaching the past history of Islam, so as to make the students to be acquainted with the great history of the prophet and his four Khaliphs, the imams of four schools of Shariat and other eminent personalities. The Board also is aiming to give the clear picture of the past history of Muslims, keeping the students away from the biased and fabricated Islamic history by the Zionists and Orientalists. So they have been taught the pure and authentic history of Amaviyya, Abbasiyya, Usmaniyya and other Islamic regimes and their cultural, social and political activities and achievements.

Quran Studies

The Board has given more emphasis in making the students directly touched with the Holy Qur-an and regularize the system of teaching it specifically in its syllabus. The recital of the Holy Qur-an is being taught as per the strict Quranic rules and regulations (Thajveed). The Board has also given instructions to the teachers to give oral classes regarding in the importance of Qur-an and its supernatural excellency and reverence as it is the revelations of Allah The almighty. The history of the Holy Qur-an and the process of its compilation and collection, contexts of revelation, and even the procedures of its dealings are also instructed to teach. All these aspects have given proper attention in the syllabus so as to achieve the Board’s aim to make the students gain a spiritual contact with the Holy Qur-an. A series of books namely Uloomul Qura-n have been prescribed from VIIth to Xth standard for teaching the students briefly the true interpretation of Qura-an and also explain to them the main principles of Ahlusuunnha in a nutshell so as to keep the stuedents away from the misinterpretation of the innovators and orientalists. The syllabus also has given much stress for making the students by heart the various important chapters and verses of the Holy Qur-an. The Suras, Yaseen, Al-Waqia, Al-Mulq, Al-Jumua, Al-Munafiqoon and also the last chapters from Sura Al-Aalaa to Sura Al-Nas and the various importent verses such as Ayathul-Alkursy, Amana Al-rasool, Lao Anzalna Etc. are all suggested for by-hearting by the students from 2nd to 10th standards.

ANNAHV-WA-SARAF(Study of arabic grammer and morphology)

The old method of teaching grammar with separate books has been rejected by the board instead, the Board adopted the present system of teaching the grammar through the lessons comprised the text books and it suggests the teachers to make discussions on grammatical points contained in the Arabic lessons of the prescribed texts and its details of which with examples are given in the activities of the last part of every chapters.

With this great scheme of Islamic education, IEBI is committed to bring back the grandeur and vigorous past of Islamic education in Kerala and all other regions of India and abroad. The Board is trying its best to spread this successful scientific system of Madrasa education all over India on the hope of bringing back the golden era of Islamic education.
